The MCS 100 OPC Server implements compete monitoring and control capability of the instrument. The features of this OPC Server include the ability to:
- Read all analog and discrete instrument I/O, measured components, calculated components, internal variables and control setpoints, diagnostic and discrete control flags.
- Manual override and control of instrument functions: trigger a check cycle, set the analyzer into maintenance, etc.
- The MCS 100 OPC Server implements the OPC Data Access and Alarms & Events specifications.

MCS 100 E

The MCS 100 E OPC Server for the Sick-Maihak MCS 100 E series analyzer including the HW/PD/CD system variants.
The MCS 100 E OPC Server implements the compete modbus protocol monitoring and control capability available using the fibre optic serial port. The features of this OPC Server include the ability to:
- Read all analog and discrete analyzer I/O, measured components, calculated components, internal variables and control setpoints, diagnostic and discrete control flags.
- Manual override and control of analyzer functions: trigger a zero check cycle only versus the complete zero and span check cycle, set the analyzer into maintenance or standby mode, open/close solenoid control valves.
- Read last calibration zero and span drifts data for up to 24 component channels for regulatory compliance reporting.
- Reset / synchronize analyzer's date and time.
- Retrieve up to one month of historical 1-minute data stored in the analyzer's on-board storage medium.
The MCS 100 E OPC Server implements the OPC Data Access, Alarms and Events and Historical Data Access specifications.
